Animal Riding B.V. cares about your privacy. We therefore only process data that we need for (improving) our services and treat the information we have collected about you and your use of our services with care. Below you can read how we process your data, where we store it (or have it stored), which security techniques we use and to whom the data can be viewed. Web shop software – WooCommerce
Our web store is developed with software from WooCommerce, we have chosen SiteGround for our web hosting. Personal data that you make available to us for the provision of our services is shared with this party. SiteGround has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support, they will never use your data for any other purpose. SiteGround is required by the agreement we have with them to implement appropriate security measures. These security measures include the use of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Regular backups are made to prevent loss of data. Web hosting – SiteGround
We purchase web hosting and email services from SiteGround. SiteGround processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. However, this party may collect metadata about the use of the services. This is not personal data. SiteGround has appropriate technical and organizational measures in place to prevent the loss and unauthorized use of your Personal Data. SiteGround is bound by a duty of confidentiality under the Agreement. Email and mailing lists – MailChimp
We send our email newsletters using MailChimp. MailChimp will never use your name and email address for its own purposes. You will see the ‘unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of every email sent automatically through our website. You will then no longer receive our newsletter. Your personal data is stored securely by MailChimp.
MailChimp uses cookies and other Internet technologies that provide insight into whether emails are opened and read. MailChimp reserves the right to use your data to further improve the service and, in this context, share information with third parties. Payment processors – Mollie
For handling (part of) the payments in our online store we use the platform of Mollie. Mollie processes your name, address and residence details and your payment information such as your bank account or credit card number. Mollie has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Mollie reserves the right to use your data to further improve the service and, in this context, to share (anonymized) data with third parties. All of the above safeguards regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to those parts of Mollie’s services for which it engages third parties. We collect reviews through WebwinkelKeur’s platform. If you leave a review through WebwinkelKeur you are required to provide a name and email address. WebwinkelKeur shares this information with us so we can link the review to your order. WebwinkelKeur also publishes your name on its own website. In some cases, WebwinkelKeur may contact you to provide an explanation of your review. In case we invite you to leave a review we share your name and email address with WebwinkelKeur. They use this information for the sole purpose of inviting you to leave a review.

If you place an order with us, it is our job to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of DHL / DPD / PostNL to carry out deliveries. It is therefore necessary that we share your name, address, email and place of residence details with DHL / DPD / PostNL. DHL / DPD / PostNL only use this data for the performance of the agreement. We use the services of IJburg accountants for our administration and bookkeeping. We share your name, address and residence information and details regarding your order. We use your data solely for the purpose of our services. This means that the purpose of processing is always directly related to the order you provide. Retention periods
We retain your data for as long as you are our client. This means that we keep your client profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services.
If you indicate this to us, we will also interpret this as a request to forget. Pursuant to applicable administrative obligations, we are required to retain invoices containing your (personal) data. However, employees no longer have access to your client profile and documents we have produced as a result of your assignment.
Your rights
